How much does a Kible Health advocate cost?



How are our Advocates Free?

Understood Care advocates are free because they are covered by your insurance. In 2024, Medicare started paying for navigation and community health integration services. You can read more here:

When is it free?

You have Original Medicare and a secondary plan (like a Medigap policy or Medicaid), and you've already met your annual deductible.
- If you don’t have a secondary insurance we can help you research options and help you apply

Have a Medicare Advantage plan with $0 co-pay or are through your out of pocket maximum for the year



If there’s a cost, what should I expect?

If you have out of pocket costs we will tell you BEFORE your first session. You will never receive a surprise bill from us.

If you have original Medicare the initial visit is approximately $15-20. For each appointment with the patient advocate, it is approximately $10-20

If you have Medicare Advantage, it would depend on your plan



We are always adding new states, and new Medicare Advantage plans in our existing states.

Most Understood Care patients with Medicare pay $0 out of pocket.

Understood Care will bill Medicare and other insurance plans directly so you'll never receive a surprise bill from us.

What if I have Medicaid instead of Medicare?

Unfortunately patient advocacy is not yet covered by Medicaid. It is only covered by Medicare at this time.

Unfortunately patient advocacy is not yet covered by commercial insurance. It is only covered by Medicare at this time.

Why are you not in network with my plan?

We have to contract with each individual insurance company in each state in order to start accepting Medicare Advantage patients. We are working as quickly as possible but in many instances we are waiting for the insurance companies to respond to us.
