I want to come on again. I know we've touched on this subject before, but I wanted to talk about Alzheimer's disease. Based on a recent study in the United States, over 7 million Americans suffer from Alzheimer's disease. This is a progressive, debilitating disease.

Not only is it in the beginning, it's very hard on the patient. I've always been told that you go through stages and at first it causes a lot of confusion, frustration, aggravation for the patient themselves because they don't understand why this is happening.

As the de disease progresses and they start to not recognize their family, that's where the family confusion, sadness, depression, aggravation, things come in because it's very hard to watch somebody that you love disappear. And that's what happens as the disease progresses.

There are medications that can help. There is no cure. You can, and a lot of people do, keep their loved one at home and care for them by making alterations as far as safety things for their home, which is something we can help you with. We can help you advise on some safety precautions that you can take as the disease progresses.

We can help you with different home health care providers so that you can kind of go out and do what you need to do and run errands and know that somebody is at home with your loved one so they're not left alone. Different home healthcare options, different safety equipment, you know, I mean, as far as a bed, bathroom equipment, grab bars, locks on the doors that they can't reach, things like alarms on your doors and windows, things like that.

This is not a forgiving disease and it's not easy to walk that journey. We can help you walk it. You're not alone. We can help you find what you need. And when and if the time comes that you feel that you can no longer care for them at home, we can help you find the best memory care unit as well to ensure that your loved one is treated with respect and dignity as they deserve.
