Medicare does cover home oxygen concentrators, portable oxygen nebulizers, your equipment, meaning whether you're on a nasal canula or a mask, whatever it may be. However, because throughout the years, there have been some companies that unfortunately have made it difficult for recipients to receive this equipment.

There's a lot of hoops that we have to jump through. There's a few things you have to do in order to get the equipment covered. You have to have a facetoface appointment with your primary care or your pulinologist within so many days of the order. You have to have an order from the doctor.

Then there's a form from the durable medical equipment that has to be filled out by you and your specialist. And then some companies acquire a current pulmonary function or a PFT test. can help you get the appointment that you need in order to get your equipment and then we work directly on your behalf with the durable medical equipment to ensure that the right equipment is ordered and delivered and set up for you in a timely manner.

When you have difficulty breathing, I can only imagine the anxiety that you feel on top of just not feeling well because if your body isn't oxygenating correctly, it can cause anxiety, it can cause fatigue, it can cause even, you know, pain depending on the issues that you have. So, what we do here, we get the form, we can fill it out with you or on your behalf and send it to the doctor that's ordering your oxygen or your nebulizer, and then we can forward it to the doctor and then follow up with the doctor to make sure that the form was completed.

Or we just ensure that they have forwarded it and then we'll reach out to the DME company to make sure they receive the order, the test, the form, and everything needed in order for you to get your equipment. We can also work with you to if you have a problem with your current equipment, if it needs to be serviced, if you need new oxygen delivery devices, meaning your nasal canula or your mask, or you need equipment for your nebulizer, meaning the delivery unit or your medication for your nebulizer.

Those are all things that we can help you with to make sure that you have that continuity of care, to make sure you're not without your oxygen, you're not without your nebulizer or your medication. Anything that you need to have done in order for the equipment to be continually covered is taken care of.
