Neuropathy is a chronic condition but it can be helped with combination of medication and therapy. There's different kinds whether it be due to diabetes caused diabetic peripheral neuropathy. But there's also it could be due to injuries, it could be due to trauma, it could be due to back pain.

There could be no reason underlying chronic condition that can be causing the neuropathy. However, it does cause issues with mobility. Sometimes you feel unsteady on your feet, have the numbness and tingling, there's pain, there's confusion, there's pins and needles.

Everybody kind of describes their neuropathy in a different way. And you guys are probably all familiar with the most common medication for this, which is gabapentin.

And some patients take a lot. After time, it has to increase. But there are other medications that you can take. And if it's not something that would be covered under your insurance, we can help you get a prior authorization. We can help you get covered through the drug company and sometimes a better price through your insurance.

There's therapies that you can do that help. There's shoes actually that help. And there are different things that we can help you find and definitely help with the instability that you may feel because of the numbness. It can maybe alleviate some of the pain.
