Hi everyone, it's Amanda at Understood Care. June is Alzheimer's Awareness Month so I wanted to hop on and kind of give you some information how our advocates can help. Alzheimer's is one of your most common memory diseases. It affects quite a large percentage of the older population in the United States.

It's a slow, progressive disease. It has no cure, but there are medications to help slow the progression. Overall care needed can be overwhelming for the patient as well as for the caregivers, family members. Our advocates can help with medication management, basically making sure that they are available and affordable.

That way we can coordinate with your doctors for coordination of care, whether it be at home, palliative care, even assisted living. We are here to help walk you through the process. We are here for you for whatever you may need.
