It's Debbie from Understood Care. I wanted to talk to you today about medication access. I know that most people by now have probably seen commercials about the different savings programs that are out there for medications, but did you know, which some people don't know, even if you have insurance that has prescription benefits through Medicare, if Good RX offers a cheaper amount, then all you have to do is ask your pharmacy to fill your prescription through Good RX.

The bigger pharmacies, I'm not going to mention any names, but they put out commercials that will automatically tell you if it can be cheaper on Glitter X or cheaper on this savings card, and a lot of them don't tell you that. At Understood Care, what we do is if you call and you have an issue with your co-ay being too high or you just can't afford your medication, we get the name from you, how often you take it, the milligs, all that thing.

We run it through all those savings programs for you, plus check your insurance to make sure you're getting charged correctly because we want to make sure there's no mistakes when you're getting your medication and make sure you're not being overcharged. So, there's a lot of options out there and we can help you with that.
