You're having trouble affording healthy food that's needed for basically your daily life. You're not eligible for food stamps or it's a minuscule amount that really is going to make a difference or your rent is going up or you know just in general cuz food costs are rising.

There's a lot of different community programs out there that we can help you with. Traditional Medicare, the red, white, and blue card, unfortunately, does not pay for meals.

However, there are a lot of Medicare Advantage plans that do. There's some online food resources that cover the cost of meals. There's a few that we work with regularly that deliver it right to your home. There's elderly programs specifically for people with that are elderly or disabled.

That's different from the SNAP program, different from the food stamps that not many people know about, but it's a federal program. They oversee it, but then it's state by state as well. And the income guidelines are a little bit different. We work with a lot of different food banks and we have actually found some that deliver.

So, if you have issues, you know, if you're homebound, if you don't drive or if you don't have somebody that can drive you, we can help you get transportation to a food bank. But we have also found some resources where they'll actually deliver groceries to you from the food bank.

We can help you get your valuation to see if you're eligible for SNAP or food stamps. See if you're eligible for the program for the elderly and disabled for food assistance. We can get you hooked up for deliveries and or transportation to local food banks so that you're able to pick up.

We reach out to different churches and different community organizations to see what else in your area may be available for you. And then if you're not able to cook, you know, if that's not a good option for you, then we'll look at your benefits to see, are you eligible for like a PCA, a personal care attendant on your benefits that can come in and make meals kind of meal prep for you?

And then there's also meal delivery services that we can reach out to for you.
