Hi again, it's Debbie from Understood Care. I wanted to talk a little bit more today about transportation options. Some most Medicare Advantage plans offer some transportation assistance to doctor's appointments. Normally that's the only place they'll go to and from.

You do have to book normally with that two to three days in advance. I did verify that, at least in Florida, all 67 counties do have some kind of elderly program for seniors for transportation. Other states, I have checked with their elder services department and most do offer those options to you for transportation and the difference with the county or the state or the city versus your insurance is they'll also take you to other places besides your doctors.

They'll take you to shopping, they'll take you to church, they'll take you to, you know, other errands that you may have to do and not just your doctor's appointments, but there are options out there. Uber even has a program for seniors at a discounted rate for Uber rides.
